Templeton x Simi

Templeton and Simi had a litter on the 10th November 2008. There were 11 dove and buff hooded/berk babies in the litter, with all being rehomed to families around Auckland and surrounding areas.

Templeton x Fern
September 2008

We have bred our Templeton (mink hooded) to Fern (argente berk), with their litter due around the 22nd September. This will be Templeton's second and last litter - he sired a litter with Rana in 2007. Fern is the daughter of Brooke and Socrates. We are expecting hooded and berkshire babies in a mix of mink, dove, cinnamon and argente in the litter. Fern only had 6 babies, of which we kept 4!

Socrates x Brooke
Jan 2008

Brooke (dove berkshire) was mated to Socrates (silverfawn berkshire) on the 23rd December. The litter was born on the 15th Jan, with 12 babies in the litter. The bubs were argente, dove, silverfawn and champagne. There were hooded, berkshire and self babies. Socrates is our big squishy alpha weighing in at over 600g. He is also the only rat to have fallen asleep upside down on my lap. Brooke is from our earlier litter from Rana and Templeton, which so far has turned out to be an amazing sucess. The bubs all went to a good homes around the North Island, with us keeping one argente berkshire girl Fern.

Rana

Our argente girl Rana was mated with our mink hooded boy Templeton on the 9th May. The litter was born on the 31st of May, with 11 bubs in the litter. All the babies were berkshires, with cinnamon, argente, mink and dove babies in the litter. We kept two girls and two boys from the litter, with the rest of the bubs finding homes around the North Island.

Hope's eepers

Hope was a rescue rat that came to us pregnant. She gave birth to a litter of 9 healthy eepers on the 11th January 2007. There were 3 silverfawn boys, 1 champagne boy and 5 silverfawn girls. Judging from the colouring and markings of the babies, I believe the father was a silverfawn self. All the silverfawn babies were adopted out to good homes around NZ. We kept the champagne boy Rowley, though have no plans to breed from him.
