Rat Wrangler Sanctuary is a home for rats of all types and ages. Our rats are a mixture of breeding rats and rescues - rats adopted after being abandoned or neglected by their previous owners. All our ratties are spoilt, with freeroaming/cuddle time each day, breakfast each morning, and fresh fruit, veges and meat at night. We are a new rattery in Auckland, so if you are looking to adopt a young rat then please check out our litters page. We also encourage you to adopt an older rat in need of a new home - the NZ Rat Rescue has foster homes around the country with needy rats.
